Portrait
commission
Procedure
The
artist likes to get to know the client and discuss the clothing
and the composition of the painting before the first photo shoot
session.
It
is ideal to have this meeting in the environment where the
portrait will eventually hang, to ensure the compatibility of the
painting with its surroundings.
After
developing the photographs Mr. Jacot will meet again with the
client and decide on which pictures will be used for the portrait.
If required a second photo shoot will be done.
Back
in the studio a small study determining the colors and composition
of the final painting is completed and sent to the client for
approval. Florian Jacot will then begin work on the final
portrait. The completion of the painting can vary between two and
six months depending on the complexity of the work.
Payment
Prices
are subject to change without notice. A
non-refundable deposit of 40% is required
at the first session. Balance is paid upon completion of commission and
acceptance by the client.
Additional
figures, pets and/or complex background are extra. All
travel, lodging, framing and shipping expenses are in addition to
the prices listed below.
